The Pyramids of Giza are iconic monuments of ancient Egypt, built as tombs for Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. They showcase extraordinary engineering and remain one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world.
 

Day 2: Activity - 3
Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo houses the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. It includes treasures from the pharaohs, such as Tutankhamun’s golden mask, statues, mummies, and objects spanning thousands of years of Egyptian history.

After breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, check out and fly to Luxor. On this day, you will see all the great attractions of Luxor. On the west side of the Nile are the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Start with the Valley of the Kings; your guide will explain the most important stories of the site and recommend the best tombs to visit. Next, explore the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Your guide will explain the history of the temple before giving you free time to explore it yourself and take photos of the highlights. Finally, stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Then, returning to the east bank, you will visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

Meet and Pick Up

The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings in Luxor served as the royal burial ground for pharaohs of the New Kingdom. It contains more than 60 tombs, including that of Tutankhamun, adorned with colorful wall paintings depicting the journey to the afterlife.

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, located at Deir el-Bahari on Luxor’s west bank, is a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. Built into the cliffs, it honors one of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaohs and is dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.
 

Day 3: Activity - 4
The Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, located on the west bank of Luxor. They once guarded the entrance to his mortuary temple and are famous for their impressive size and grandeur.
