Coptic Cairo
Coptic Cairo is located in the heart of Egypt’s capital and is one of the oldest Christian areas in the world.
It is home to several historic churches such as the Hanging Church, the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus, and the Church of Saint Barbara, along with the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Coptic Museum.
The area is known for its spiritual atmosphere and ancient architecture, reflecting centuries of religious and cultural coexistence in Egypt.

Then, visit the High Dam in Aswan, built between 1960 and 1970, providing the country with water storage for agriculture and development. Temple of Philae
The Temple of Philae, located on Agilkia Island in Aswan, is one of Egypt’s most beautiful ancient temples. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis, the deity of magic and motherhood, reflecting the depth of religious beliefs in ancient Egypt. The temple was relocated from its original site after the construction of the High Dam, preserving its historical and artistic beauty.
High Dam
The High Dam in Aswan is one of the most important engineering projects of the 20th century, built to protect Egypt from floods and regulate the Nile’s waters. The dam generates electricity and expands agricultural land, serving as a symbol of Egypt’s modernization and development. It is approximately 3.6 km long, over 110 meters high, and overlooks the man-made Lake Nasser.
Continue sailing and stop at Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to both gods Horus (the falcon) and Sobek (the crocodile). Later, visit Edfu Temple, which the Greeks dedicated to Horus in Edfu.
